The body of the Tecno Boom J8 is built with premium plastic materials and the edges are reinforced with a metallic frame.

Coming to design, apparently the design is ripped from the iPhone 6 which makes the phone sleek and stylish. The phone doesn’t look bad for a copied design.

With that said, the display features a 5.5 inch IPS capacitive screen one with an amazing resolution of 720*1280.

The phone boasts of flawless viewing angles, however, I feel Tecno should have incorporated an HD screen to back up the claim.

CAMERA:

Camera is one of the Pros of the Boom J8, The Tecno J8 has a 13MP at the back with Auto Focus and LED Flash which is positioned by the camera. In addition, the camera’s, coupled with the flash are designed to take pictures even in low light areas.

The front selfie camera spots a 5MP which is an improvement on the J7’s 2MP camera

Overall, the camera of the phone is impressive and if you would whip out your wallet to buy the Boom J8, I promise you wouldn’t regret it.

PERFORMANCE, OS & SOFTWARE:

Inside the heart of the smartphone lies the ultra-fast quad-core MediaTek MT6753 processor. More so, the J8 processor is clocked at 1.3GHz. Since the phone lacks an HD display, Tecno, on their part did great to use a Mali-T720 graphics resolution. As It helps the phone to display scenic colors on the screen.

In the storage category, the Boom J8 carries a 2GB RAM making it better than the J7 at 1GB of RAM.

BOOM HEADSET AND PHONE SPEAKERS:

Straight out of the box, the Tecno Boom J8 comes with a Boom headset. The headset and phone speakers utilize the Maxx Audio technology that filters the uncluttered sound and produce the best quality sound.
